Recycling Shed
Do you need a recycling shed? If you need to find a solution for your recycling sorting. Here it is: If you need to seperate your glass, newspapers, plastics, lids, green glass, cardboard and more, we can design a shed that will solve this. This is a shed that should prevent you from finding corners and cubby's to hide things.
This shed is meant to hold a 32 gallon garbage can; a shelf for your newspaper; and a plastic bin for your bottles and cans. I has three front doors and a sloped roof. The shed is 4 feet high, 30 inches deep and 6 feet wide. I recommend that cedar is used as siding and roofing as it will make your shed last longer.
Your shed should have a base of pressure treated wood. You can either make your shed stand on its own or you can attaching to a building. What ever works best for your situation.
Your shed will need these materials:
The shed walls will need 1/2 plywood, for outdoors
The shed shelves will need 3/4" plywood
The shed trim and door battens will need 1x4 #2 pine
The shed will need 2x4's for framing
The shed flooring will need 1x4 CCA
The shed base frame will need 2x4 CCA
The shed's siding will need 1x6 shiplapped cedar boards
The sheds roof will need 18" cedar shingles
Other shed accessories: 3 pair of 5" hinges; 8d common nails, 1" deck screws' 3" galvanized deck screws, 5 1/2x4" lag bolts, 3 galvanized handles, 1x2s for shelf supports and stop.
Enjoy building your shed. I hope this satisfies all your recycling needs.
